MODERATING.

After having my thread on a test i was doing deleted, i am begingin to think, the mods, not all, have gone a wee bit too far.

Freedom of fun and speach, has gone haywire

Prehaps its changed, but when i was a mod, we were told to delete trouble making threads and baned hunting ect, not fun threads, which seems to be having a lot of late.

 

Mods, please dont delete this, as i only think its fair on what folks opinions are on here, as without us, their would be no forum.

 

All opionions/votes ect welcomed, if sensible.

Although i dont post much i do like to read alot of the posts, and some of them are a complete waste of time.

 

I must admit that most of your replys / posts are very good, just my opinion but some other posts are a waste of time and nearly always end up with arguements and bad feeling.

 

So my vote goes for the good of moderating but i dont think posts should be pulled without explanation from the mod, its just indecent

Ok, the problem is how many threads are pulled without us knowing? I pm'd a mod as one post contained the full name of a member, i'm sure nobody would disagree with a post such as this being deleted? The trouble is everyone has a different idea of whats acceptable, I saw Franks thread, several pages of typing of diffferent fonts and colours, I can see why is was pulled......but what do I know

In all fairness Frank I don't think I'm on the sites enough to comment on your particular thread deletion.........but it can be VERY frustrating if because someone doesn't agree and is a mod. that they have the power to in effect silence you

I agree, it did get a wee bit out of hand, but as far as i could see, it was a bit of harmeless fun, which we desprately need, what with the hunting ban, bombers, weather ect ect.
