ian.kellet95 1
hello, I currently have a 19 month old wheaten greyhound deerhound cross bitch, I've been looking into getting a wheaten greyhound bitch. My only concern is that some people that i know that have them say that they can be noisy in the kennels if not worked for a day or so. My bitch was noisy at first but settled down after a few weeks and i cant have much noise anymore due to neighbors with children. I was just wondering if it was common in wheaten greyhound crosses to be noisy in kennels. Also if there is anything else i should know about the breed any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Ian Quote Link to post
NOOK/ANNA 96
I have a wheaten/bull/grey dog and you wouldn't know he was there most of the time he's that quite. Only time u'll hear him is if someone comes near the yard then he'll let them know to stay away. Lol Quote Link to post

Richie10 345
Be careful around other dogs. Mine was fine with other dogs unless the other dog tried to be dominant, then there was hell. They can be a handful, mine was socialised, great with kids, but they can be easily triggered by something. Experienced Wheaten owners can tell you more. 1 Quote Link to post
