cocker 2,654
i got mine from a farm store type shop, i have it on 24 7 during the coldest part of winter and have em bedded up on shredded paper, ive always done this and had no problem, dogs look miles better and keep their weight on better, than they would if they were cold, also when they come in from excercise and are wet and muddy and cold, it dries them out quickly. bird 9,897
There ideal and well needed for this weather imo i use them, got 1 in eack kennel ,red bulbs with guard round the front of them. Even though my lurchers have good coats on them (colliex grey , gsd x grey ) , i have found when there are warm from the lamp it takes alot of the stiffness out of them, as they will strech out. Where as( no) lamp dogs will roll up tight to keep warm, which makes more stiffness. 1 Quote Link to post
