some of my pegs oak& ash i use all sorts of hard woods whittled then shaped on the grinder and sanded . use a bit mig wire to pull the nylon through the hole

i use hazel pegs like these and ther free if you chop them of the tree your self

why buy pegs when you can get them for free

Proper Job there Nobby, Thats what I prefer Hardwood pegs :thumbs:

I used to be able to get these,Unbeatable in my eyes,No matter how hard the ground they just push in.Starting to run out now.If any one knows a cheap source can you send me a pm.

Line pin block layers use them.Forgot my knife the other day legged the rabbits using the pin.

If you buy them in a shop there mad expensive,I used to know a lad that worked in a foundry,probally get made in china now.

Nice Jarvo there Nobby ,,lol ,,, yeh there good pegs those Nobby does,, they slide in the ground nice and easy,, that's the advantage of sanding them.

 

I do like those things though, that weasel put up.. A mate of mine uses Ali tent pegs,, the ones that are like thin angle iron,, must say there good as well
