i read somewhere of a lad who goes to his corner shop and buys a bag of sticks ( the type for firewood ) and carves pegs out of them , have to say they work a treat and handy to come by when you also need a carton of milk

Line pin block layers use them.Forgot my knife the other day legged the rabbits using the pin.

If you buy them in a shop there mad expensive,I used to know a lad that worked in a foundry,probally get made in china now.

Nice Jarvo there Nobby ,,lol ,,, yeh there good pegs those Nobby does,, they slide in the ground nice and easy,, that's the advantage of sanding them.

 

I do like those things though, that weasel put up.. A mate of mine uses Ali tent pegs,, the ones that are like thin angle iron,, must say there good as well

I just use metal tent pegs, with an elastic band around it, never had any problems with them. Although i am looking at using hardwood pegs after getting some top nets off Andy Kelly, mainly for how much better they look.
