Squirrel_Basher 17,100
I personally find that rat bites rarely need treating unless its a gash or rip.best to let them heal from the inside out. 3 Quote Link to post

CorkyJohn 808
What do you mean by needles? Did he have his first innoculations? 1 Quote Link to post
ivebeen 176
If the pup has already had its first shots, there is no need to give the pup anything after getting rat bit. Just clean it out with a little soapy hot water, or some hydrogen peroxide. Quote Link to post
Jykke 5
I use Betadine for such. Does not irritate skin or cause any other (allergic) reactions. Of course; parvo, rabies (here yearly vaccinations for u-gound hunting dogs, no rabies in UK?) and such vaccinations are a must. Quote Link to post
hawki 1,431
Thanks for the comments and PMs lads, he has all his vaccinations up to date, the iodine spray seemed to do the trick Quote Link to post
