North Star Terriers 0
I am just wondering what type of feed others are using these days? I am feeding this food http://www.naturesdo...ormula-for-dogs Mixed with about .5 lb of chicken or Turkey a day. Edited December 2, 2012 by North Star Terriers
whippet 99 2,613
the dry food is quite high in protein, as is chicken,................it wont do them much harm, but i would add some tripe and maybe lamb, just makes them have a little more energy and they will have a bit of fat to help them with work loads , its surprising what they look like after a good days work and the fatty foods make them look so much healthier, like there ready for some graph, just my opionion mate

whippet 99 2,613
tripe , beta ,chicken wings , rabbits, venison and flesh from the hunt kennels, find that calf dont do much for them but lamb , horse and cow barf are best

jawn 449
I fed Fromm for a couple or three years. The dogs did VERY well on it. An eighth to a half a cup per day depending on the dog, with a little coconut oil and they held up in the Texas heat sometimes running in excess of fifteen miles. I give them whole red squirrell from time to time for a job well done. I switched to Victor a month or so ago because it's local. Time will tell if it was a good switch. If not.. it's back to Fromm.
