Cheers for all the ideas and advice lads, i've realised now my biggest mistake was taking it too much for granted that she loved me, and not putting enough effort into fixing the little problems here and now, but always just thinking, we would sort them out once the bad patch was through etc. Eventually there was one thing too much, and she just snapped, and it changed the way that she had felt about me for years, pretty much in an instant. Now there is nowt much that i can do, other than wait and see if once she has a little space and time, she will decide that she feels like she did before, but it doesnt look likely. But being a wreck isnt going to help. So i guess i wait and see for a bit and just get my head down, and if it doesnt work out, take the dog and do one somewhere exciting!

Sorry to hear that Jai.. Best thing you can do is let the dust settle then have a good think about the direction you want to go in.. Once the raw emotions you're experiencing now have faded you'll be able to make your choices with a clear head and move on from there. Things will get easier and and at least you won't make a rash decision and go halfway down a path to somewhere you don't really want to go.. Take care mate..

 

true, and maybe meet another woman when ready, because you was happy before with your (lot). there know point fecking off unless you really want to leave your home place . Ive been with my wife nearly 30 years, and its as lot of hard times, got 1 now few money probs coming up, but its better with sombody than being on your own. yes your right there are alot of times where you prob better off , but 1 think i do know both my parents are dead now, when my mother was ill dying hospital , i used to go and see her there. They were few people there same as my mother, not long left ,but they were on there own( never) any vistors.What a way to leave this earth, when nobody gives a feck about you ye somtimes you better off on your own, if you meet the wrong one , but (if) you can meet the right 1 got to be better . not saying iam happy, but i know there is lot worse than me .!! i think lol
