forest of dean redneck 11,622
Cheers lads, for all of the kind words. Its a difficult one because as Bird said i was happy with my lot before i met her, but that was a long time and about 1000 miles away. She really is the perfect woman for me, in pretty much everyway, i woudnt change a thing, i had it so lucky and knew it, i just f****d it up in the end. To be honest at the moment im struggling to even get out of bed. But i think you are right Tomo if i cant get her back i might just have to walk away and have an adventure. Jai ,your alive and I presume still got good health, so it's not doom n gloom, these things happen, now get yer arse out of bed,the dogs still need feeding an exercising ,no point wallowing in pity, When your thinking straight, think of something you really want to do,and have not yet,and make plans to achieve it. You only live once,no point wasting what time you have, take care, fella.

skycat 6,173
Speaking from a female point of view, and I know it's impossible to give advice without knowing the both of you very well, but anyway: if you know why she's left, but just don't want to tell us, you surely know if it's fixable or not. Silly arguments over nothing much? Money problems? Or has her love just run its course? Only you can know that, and all the advice we can give is useless if we don't know all the facts. But if you are sure it's over, then I'd definitely get out of the area for a while: a complete change of scenery can work wonders on the morale. Not so easy with a dog in tow, even a little one, but do-able if you're a resourceful sort of chap.
