swanseajack 227
Been out today, with Tag and Murphy.. Didn't go out with hunt so went for a stroll in the pissing down rain to see what was about. Both dogs of leads doing a bit of bushing, I decided to check a big earth that I know of, been empty for years but has shown signs of recent activity, giving that it was wet I thought it was worth a try. Tag has been giving me problems recently and I thought it's about time he started doing some proper work if he wanted to keep his kennel space. Put Murphy on lead entered Tag, he flew in the earth and just by that action I knew there was someone at home, Murphy wouldn't stop whining, not the best of terriers to have at the outside of a hole, so I moved him further up out of the way, didn't have any digging gear with me as I was not expecting anything to ground where I went. Had a listen down the holes couldnt hear anything, tried the box and nothing from that After about 20/30 mins I was stood there camera in my jacket zipped up, and trying to roll a fag with sticky wet fingers, Murphy was going a bit potty up the bank and as I glanced up lil ole ginger was staggering out of the hole below him, looked like he had done 12 rounds If I was a bit quicker and light on my feet I reckon I could have caught him myself. Tag followed him out, about 5 mins later... couple of medals but nothing major.. Walked a load of fields, got soaked, on way back I noticed Murphy perk up a bit near a big rock set I lift Tag and let Murphy have his chance, Watch him rushing round the brambles, looking in the hole and generally faffing about. Anyway I lift him and let Tag off, as soon as his nose hit the ground he makes a beeline for the earth entrance, straight in and gone, smoked a few fags, waited around in the rain hoping for a bolt again, over an hour later out comes a rather bedraggled Tag, both his top canines poking though his flews, face like a teabag and generally knackered. Don't know what went wrong with Murphy but I'm not happy with him and I just bred him to Milly Quote Link to post

swanseajack 227
Here's a pic of my bitch 'Lucky' she was bred out of my dog Yogi and a fell bitch, as you can see by the pics she has lost a lot of her coat, this I believe was caused by her moving kennels to mine. Apparently she has always had problems with bald patches on her ears... anyway today I have bathed her and coverd her in Benzyl Benzoate 25% solution. Hopefullly she will start to make some inprovement over the next few weeks, I'm showing you this as a.) You can have a look at her shape before she becomes a furball again, b.) to show you improvement as it happens... If she doesn't improve it will be a trip to the vets... P.S. She's sound in herself, weight etc her coats just a bit shite at the moment. Quote Link to post
