going to work the little one to ground when he,s ready any body know of some good books on working bedds. or vids. im in the NW

never saw one, ask swanseajack, he work his beddies i just got one so he s more competent to advise, just give him lot of opportunities to kill rats, going through pipes, safe under ground, then let him kill some rats in under ground, then small cats or big one but tape their claws, and let him do it under ground just to get confidence, then go out wih some lads and let him see dogs working and gettig the smell of fox in nose, when to start work him undergreound is hard to say i started after he was 12month- i mean work him on fox- just be sure his teeth and jaws are in full strengh, y ll know it when he ll be ready, do not forget better later lthan sooner, dog have to be really confident

i personaly never did that so my beddy got a lot of scarws on his face, his got injured eye and the vet have to cut out bit of his skin that clean his eye from inside but i heard that a lot of people do that just to protect eyes of young in experience dogs. only f...k thinq i did was that i bought gp and gave to my 5months old dog, i bought from box which was for snakes, i knew it was f..... stupid thing and i heared a lot from lads here. i use my dog for hunting, seeking and under ground work
