For all you Bedlington owners out there, let's have a look at what you've got, get your pics up of your "WORKING DOGS" this thread has been going for some time now, anyone got a good one that they would take anywhere to be dug to? Don't be shy, I'm not going to offer you a day out to prove it, I'm just interested to see (and others are) your workers !!

Why would anybody feel the need to justify,to a total stranger,the ability of the dogs in their kennel.Im happy with my little lot and don,t give a flying f**k what other people think of them,if a dog is no good then the only person who will lose out is the misguided fool who tries to work them.

To many people with so called Working Beddys,the only work they are capable of is a bit of rabbiting and ratting,pups are then advertised out of working parents,that would,nt stand the test of a real trial,ill just talk from my derriere and listen to the usual drivel from the same sources with the same bred shite and the usual cronies and hangers on.Thankfully there are a few out there with the genuine stuff,do your homework or take up ratting and rabbiting.

I don,t post pictures,ever,ive just got rid of a 14 month old dog to a pet home because he was pig ignorant and was,nt going to make the grade,he was possibly a better worker than % of the stuff about now.I could mention a few with real Beddy,s,but thats not my place,ive 2 youngsters here now 4 month old showing real drive and promise,ive a 2 month old pup heavily related to them,if they fail to make the grade they will find pet homes or go in a hole,unlike most who would peddle pups out of them,ive an old bitch that as given me 7 seasons work,all my pups are out of her or her grandkids,im not saying they are the best out there but they will provide me with working terriers for a few more years and that to me is all that i ask for.

Headed out this morning to arrive at permission about 9 30, to find it had been snowing and was still tho' only just, spot on I thought should be in luck. Walked round the land for 3 1/2 hrs checking 7 lots of earths but nothing in this time. Good thing was the young bitch traveled her share of earths, ones I knew would be "easy" starters for her should charlie be in obviously they were then rechecked with the dog. Was pleased how things progressing just waiting for the day when it rumbles under foot, cant be far away now.

had a couple of handy digs today first one was a big deep looking place lots of seaching but we got there in the end then bolted a fox out of an old rubbish tip good job as i didnt fancy diggin it then a nice easy one 4 foot dig had a look at a few new ones but they can wait until another day we had our fun today there keep
