The dog is dark and small, 38cm. i need small dark and pure bred bedlington.

 

vaat ees purebred ?

 

KC registered doesn't mean shyte over their Mat, and I doubt very much if anything is purebred anyway..

that liver dog stood on the table is a pure bred,so was his father,mother,grandfather and grandmother all through old lines of floyd of eakring,granitor,rillington when george newcombe used to kc them and rambos parents which people think stuart slatley bred but john denton did and i still have some of this blood line left which if i dont breed anymore it will be gone and they all workd just as good as these lakyxs beddies IF YOU WANT PROOF IVE STILL GOT MY OLD DOS PEDIGREE if you need a look.i even went to georges years ago as i only live about a hour and a quarter away and he only had 2 pures left to breed from as his old one were 13-14 yrs then and a couple of cross breds.now im going back 13yrs ago

What exactly are you saying, you had a purebred bedlington, it worked, it was as good as a lakeland/bedlington, and you met George.. Nice !!!

its like a lot of people say you need lakey in ya bedlington to work as pure breds are crap but i will sort some more pics out for yous when i find them.theres a beddy dog free to good home from that liver dog on to a bitch bred by his father which is grandson to rambo with papers if you no anybody but hes done no work as it is my neices dog and he is 3 but the breeding is there.

I ve got an idea of workin beddies if somebody try to improve a breed and keep original exterier and mentality I wanna have small spanable workin beddies with stronger skin and good coat. Liver dogs wont help me. SWJ Tag is 100 perc. beddy, somethin which i think d help me to improve breed. i d never use dog from non workin parents, unproved even if there was Rambo 100 times.

i had to get rid of all my dogs when i split up with my ex as i had nowere to put them but my brother was wanting me to get the beddies back in ive got a beddie x greyhound pup in at the min 1stx cant wait til shes ready but thats why im debating to have the dog myself because hes done nowt as my neice only wanted him as a pet

i read an article about beddies and their coat and blue ones got stronger and thicker coat.

I don't think its the fact that 'all purebreds are crap' it's more the fact that there aren't many 'pure' dogs that have been bred from and worked over the last 30 years or so, they're very few and far between if there are any. You can keep banging on about rambo if you like, he did produce some workers.. Would be good to see the types that you have or have had..

 

 

you can get good liver coats as well as some real poor examples,, I'm not even going down that road, been done to death in the past, yogi tango, rusty and most of the others i've seen had good liver coats..

Hey Mat, topper's Ted is anti social, his coat is a deep liver as he says almost chocolate. When I say him his coat was thick and heavy.

no i think you are right but do you not think its because other people saying to the ones with pure breds that they need this that and the other in the dogs to do a harder job because lets be fair there isnt a lot of terrier lads who like bedlingtons,as they say they are crap but obviolsely they havn't seen good ones work propley.
