For Sale Couple of pairs of boots size 9 & 10

got my new altberg yesterday and decided its time to let a couple of pairs of boots go as ive got them coming out of my ears.

 

im only selling the lowa's as theyre a heavy boot and ive just had a knee operation so favouring the lighter altbergs.

 

first is the lowa mountain boots. size 9.

 

these boots are well worn and been with me a few years. seen a lot of work. they show the signs of a lot of graft and a few chew marks off the dog when she was a pup which i have made a point of showing in the pictures.

 

they are not the GTX version as i dont like goretex boots. in my opinion once theyre wet....they stay wet unless you have a radiator (which i dont always have). no rips or tears in the leather and although they cant be labelled 'waterproof' as they arent GTX.....ive never had wet feet with these on.

 

they have the vibram sole (as do most/all lowa and altberg boots) although the sole is worn it does hold the grip well.

 

ive used these lately for lamping/ferreting and general dog walking.

 

i can assure you they are a solid boot. extremely durable.

 

im not sure what they are worth in this condition. have a look at the pictures. ive tried to show all the bad points (which is only a few chew marks on the tongue of the right boot and left heel, which doesnt affect the boots ).

 

they are in the region of £145 new but like i said im not sure what these are worth.

 

they would be perfect for all 'hunting' but i think they would be a perfect digging boot. ive hit the toes a few times with a spade and pick-axe and not even scratched them ive broke my toe before in the altbergs.

 

open to reasonable offers for these.

second is a pair of jungle boots size 10. brand new.

 

these are WELLCO jungle boots. not waterproof but very light. i wouldnt recommend these for winter use although i wear mine day to day with no issues. they are extremely light and with the upper being light it means they can be bent so would fit in your bag like a pair of trainers.

 

the grip on these is superb, they have a panama sole on them which is thick and chunky.

 

these would be ideal for summer use and as a general 'decent' weather boot.

 

the ones in the pictures are my own ones which have little spots of white spray paint on. the ones for sale do not have the paint on and are brand new.

 

the laces are missing on these. im sure they have been used on the lure machine as some point

 

easy enough to get from any general store.

 

these are just taking up room in my garage so again make me an offer
