Mooch has ended badly.

Recommended Posts

Out today just for a walk with the Whippet and an Albino jill,

Whippet marked first bury, and bolted a pair.

Then the Dog marked a four holed bury on the side of a wood, have done it before and bolted a few from it.

ferret entered big rumble then silence.

The mark was reading 5ft of stony digging, real hard going.

Managed to go three feet, but had to pack up.

waited three hours but no sign of ferret but still getting the reading at 5 ft, blocked her in, with a feed of Rabbit liver down one hole.

Will be back in the morning will take a pick, I think she may be stuck in a blind end.

Was I glad to see her? Took along my hob and opened up the bury, rabbit livers had not been touched. entered the Hob twice, but each time came back on his own, managed to mark the Jill still showing

go back at 1st light way a mate or 2 an a decent graft or a bar

Nah all my old ferreting mates have gave it up, She has a collar on, but im not bothered about that as long as i get the Monkey back.

Thanks lads i will need it, I will take my Hob along, my pick, and me faithful Bulldog Spade.

Coming up for 65 its something Im not looking forward to.

Ive had some serious digs in my ferreting life.

This Jill has always come out, never been stuck up, thats why i think she may be blocked in a stop end.
