hello im wanting to sell my hatsan escort magnum 3" its a synthetic version with 28" barrels . all 5 chokes and key in great working order , been used for rabbits crows pigeons , works very well .

i not long bought this but lack of permission is a problem for me , the little bit of land i have the 410 is plenty , so im going to shoot trap DTL and need a more apropriate gun for club use .

How do you find the system on this gun, any issues with jams?

 

The reason for asking is that I have seen reports of regular jams on this so would welcome your thoughts, also what cartridges have you used.

hi matt iv used gambore high bird 30g 6's (100 rounds) and leyvale 32g 5's (50 rounds) its jammed once so far and that was due i beleave to me leaving way to much oil inside it and not cleaning it between heavy usage sessions , that coupled with me shooting pigeons last week in that very heavy rain . the gun was soaked, oily and goopy from the mix of oil and power residue .

a good clean and its working like a charm . i was the same before i bought this gun i had herd all the same things and thought twice , but at the price it seemed worth a go , i want to be totaly honest about this gun as i dont want anyone unhappy , genuinly the reason for sale is not jamming or poor workings . i had a remington 3 shot pump action 10 years ago that was a twat for jamming (so much for pumps being better that autos ?) no if i had the permission iv worked so bloody hard to get it would be staying , the mrs thinks it should and i should buy another gun when funds allow as its not let me down mechanicaly other than missing a beat once last week , which just ment i dint fire at a bird i would have in all honest missed anyway

i was hoping to get crow shooting on a big pig farm down the road and this gun would have been my choice for that but its as yet not come off .
