You're not gonna find any on here, all land differs and some places that look 'garunteed' never hold and others that you would'nt give a second look explode on the one day you gave it a try. Get out there and beat the land! Look forward to hearing about it, we don't have a great many round here, but much better numbers this year.

i know that lol, but i was just looking for some general tips, like to send me in the right direction ;)

 

Just about every woodcock I have ever put up was out of a set a side margin or ditch by a hedge or out of a spinney/plantation. Just good old natural cover. :thumbs:

was just about to say the same. not as many about my land this year that was always grazing ground now changed to barley and corn
