lightforce 170 vs 140 ?

hi lads if i use a lightforce 140 with a 12v/14ah battery will i get the same power with it if i used a 170 with the same battery ?

Also wich do u guys prefer ? 170 or 140 ?

The 140 is a good lamp for smaller fields.

I use 140 and its fine, 400meter beam, on it must be some big field the 170 striker boys run

The type of bulb makes more difference to the beam than lens size. Vertical filiment has a longer straighter beam than horizontal one.

i buy the 140 lamps and ive got the 170 lense i am on my 4th 140 and the 170 lense has fit them all.

All the heads are inter-changeable. I prefer the 170 overall which uses a 100w bulb..more than ample for running all quarry..atb stabba

210 is a great lamp 100w bulb vp brilliant ill be investing in one i say im tinkn between the 170 and 210 vp dont no yet

well try a 50w bulb in your 170 and i will put money you will get the same beam and almost twice the battery life,

i didnt belive it when i was told so when a mate came out with the exact same set up as mine we compared them,the

beam was identical, infact the 2 lads with me said mine was slightly brighter ( they didnt know why i wanted to compare them)

and after 3 hours lamping i had lost 1light off the battery meter on a 14amp lithium
