Sjt657 191
You do worry !!!! Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
At those figures your fine You should have asked them to chrono it with Bisley Magnums. If they set it to no more than 11.5 with Bisley Magnums you know you wont go over the limit with any 'readilly obtainable pellet' Having said that; at 11.03 max with AAF's, its unlikely you will reach the 12 limit even with a BizMag, so don't worry Tony Quote Link to post
Buster321c 1,010
If you went out shooting with it , do you think you`d notice the power being `slightly` ( as it is only very slightly ) low ?? Do you think after its `run in ` it`ll be better ? Chrono`s are good to keep an eye on power , but people get obsessed , leave it be and concentrate on putting the pellet where it needs to go ..... 4 Quote Link to post

dondon000 1
So if i sent it to air arms what would they do? would they turn the power up of leave it ? Quote Link to post
nangell 50
i wouldn't be disapointed with the crono results , Quote Link to post
dondon000 1
BUSTER i have shot about 1500 pellets that should be ran in Quote Link to post
porkycrook 466
dondon000 you worry too much all of those readings are fine and you have nothing to worry over, infact they are a nice set of figures. Why would you think you would need to send your gun back? My advise is for you to go out and enjoy your beautiful purchase and to use if for what you bought it for (hunting or targets), ENJOY, have fun and stay safe. Quote Link to post
clubshot 22
As part of the Gun Trades Anti Tamper Campaign - Manufactures set the power lever and seal Aware thast other pellets will increase power Air Arms are set with own pellet Range Try different pellets - Pax Bullet pellets fly faster - Bullet Shaped not Shuttlecock like Wasted Pellets and hit home hard Well worth giving them a Try - in Air Arms need 4.50 Head Size BOB/R As returning it will not get power turned up Trading law states gun being suitable - High power can be achieved with different Air Gun Pellets Quote Link to post
fry 209
thats fine mate if you sent it back to air arms they would probably turn the power down. Quote Link to post
dondon000 1
whats the best bar to fill it to as i have heard 160 bar is the best power Quote Link to post
porkycrook 466
If you fill to 190, then with a chronograph fire shots over, record all the readings. Then you will see the guns "sweet spot" where the output is at its flattest, that is what pressure you need to fill too. By reording your readings you will see to what pressure you need to fill to and you will also see how many shots that you have in the guns "sweetspot". Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
when i had my huntsman new, it was 10.6, i was happy with that as it was consistent, it then crept up over a course of the year to 11.9 mate...i didn notice any diffrence in power creep, neither did my quarry? lol the main thing is accuracy, consistency to gain good or reliable accuracy too. i wouldnt worry. 1500 pellets is nothing lol Quote Link to post
