beast 1,884 Posted November 29, 2012 Report Share Posted November 29, 2012 i dont knows why this cross isnt more popular, seena few years ago all were good, a couple were as near as damn it perfect. hancocks dont do them as they dont often throw rough coats but i wonder that folks with genuine first crosses dont put them across greyhounds because for me this is the nearest youll get to a genuine allrounder from a collie cross Quote Link to post
border lad 1,047 Posted November 30, 2012 Report Share Posted November 30, 2012 I had one about 3 years back, 3/4 grey 1/4 beardie, smooth coat throw more to the grey/ but had taken all edible single handed by the time he was 15 month old, only ran him on edible, nothing with sharp teeth, he done a tendon in his left shoulder, he went to pet home, they are a good cross for lamping, ((( or for daytime great nose, and great striking ability,bit head strong, Quote Link to post

Adam_Chuck 256 Posted November 30, 2012 Report Share Posted November 30, 2012 Shes 10 1/2 months mate so nothing over the top at the minute just ferreting and had her lamping 2/3 times. Shes caught 14 rabbits this year in a handful of times out. Next year will be run on big rabbits and lamped plenty, ferreting when im out aswell. 1 Quote Link to post
