Lol. I ain't telling you nothing. You sneaky fecker!!

My door always locked wether im in or out,not because of anything getting stolen, its to keep the bailiffs and debt collectors out.

When I was a kid we never had locked doors, day or night, in or out. Mind you, we did get robbed a lot.

I think when you live out in the sticks you do drop your guard a bit because of the lower crime rate, where i used to live i used to unload the van of tools every night and that was parked on the drive the c**ts didn,t give a f**k..My place was robbed when my missus was in and the little un was asleep in the cot upstairs and he walked straight past her on the way out, caught up with him within the hour and all the jewellery he took was gone :censored: he ended up getting away with that and they were trying to do me because he was left in a bit of a mess..the laws f****d

Seriously you think living in the sticks = lower crimerate

Nope... You are targeted because you live in the sticks

Know 3 different farms this week had machinery, tractors and trailers taken

twice this week neighbours caught folk sniffing around uninvited at private houses

If I'm in the front door unlocked all day locked at night.... My old man kept the key in the front door as long as I can remember people came and went.......... The shed was burgled once, they were caught by me and my old man... They regretted it..... The outside freezer wa robbed once.. He was caught at the end of the road by my dad and uncle... I still use his extra large rucksack, it's full of snorkeling gear lol....

When I lived in forest of dean never locked doors, missus went to toilet middle one night when pregnant and front door was wide open.

From what we can gather when they opened it they had knocked it into the rotty who slept in hallway,

The front gate was still shut though lol.

Through the 70's I grew up in a street where front doors were always open. The streets were full of kids playing, no need to lock anything, most houses had fitted a door in the lobby to keep the chill out in winter but that was it. If folk went to the shops others would keep an eye out.

It all changed in the 80's, the coming of heroin and burglaries started, i remember it starting, 3 or 4 houses in a street in a day, from then on doors were locked.

spot on mate  shame them days have long gone and to the members that are living out of the citys and towns were do you think all the smackheads go robbing  john

They'd have to be desperate to wander all the way out here looking for places to rob John, it'd cost 'em more in petrol to get out here than what they could get for whatever they carry off with them!
