Lol. I ain't telling you nothing. You sneaky fecker!!

My door always locked wether im in or out,not because of anything getting stolen, its to keep the bailiffs and debt collectors out.

When I was a kid we never had locked doors, day or night, in or out. Mind you, we did get robbed a lot.

Me am was round today ( rare ) as she left she couldn't believe my front door was open ? Only 10 o'clock she went mad .... Townie !! Or does everyone lock and bolts there doors twenty 4 seven ??

I never have ?????

Feck me...Last time we forgot to lock our back door some tw*t walked in to the house and robbed us while my wife was feeding our baby in the front room. 5 weeks later we forgot to lock our kitchen window and some scumbag came in the house in the middle of the night while we were asleep and robbed us blind...so yeh we are townies and yes we lock the sh*t out of everything. Left my shed unlocked 6 months ago and our crappy bikes got pinched as well. That's life in Stockport for you :D If it's not nailed down it will go in 5 minutes flat.

It's not something you ever forget waking up in the morning and realising someone has been wandering around you house while you slept!!

Now I've got my neurotic labrador that thinks he's a doberman so no one can get near the house without him going mental.

Through the 70's I grew up in a street where front doors were always open. The streets were full of kids playing, no need to lock anything, most houses had fitted a door in the lobby to keep the chill out in winter but that was it. If folk went to the shops others would keep an eye out.

It all changed in the 80's, the coming of heroin and burglaries started, i remember it starting, 3 or 4 houses in a street in a day, from then on doors were locked.

I lock everything... Even padlock me shite trailers and chain em down and padlock the dogrun....

My fella is a liability leaves keys in van , shed etc I have to go around after him locking things and taking keys out of locks

He was reared when it was safe to leave your door open and keys in back door.

Ive feck all worth stealing but theres some around here would even rob that although most wouldnt dare come around during day.
