timber 90
Been a slow start to the season for me so far had Mae out twice and Lilly just the once !! Got wind of a good bit of good land so booked a week off and did a bit of travelling see if i can put a few bunnies under their belts , here's how it went Mon night , clear sky but dark and windy . Bingo !! off we go , decided to run Mae first as she's very inexperienced with less than 100 bunnies to her name !! Starts off pretty slow but then it all seems to click and she's running like an old pro adding consistantly to the bag , i've set a target of 40 now and she reaches that with some left in the tank , i'm happy and with 3 nights to go it's back to the van for her and out with Lilly for a stretch , first field 5 runs 5 kills what can go wrong ?? through the gate into the next field and battery's dead ::hitfi:: that concludes Mon Tues night , similar weather conditions Lillys turn, not as many about here but she's soon into them some hard runs on this patch but the bags growing and 3 1/2 hrs lamping produces a tally of 26 . In the van for her and off to another patch to give Mae a short stretch 2 big fields and less than 1hr later she's accounted for 15 , Mae really impressed me here one of the fields was like a huge bowling green and she picked 9 in Wed night ,weather not looking good but picks up about 11-00 so it's out on a late start , Mae's turn again , rabbits a bit thin on the ground here and tough but enjoyable land to lamp ,persistence pays off and 20 in the bag off to another patch , more to go at here and end the night at 6-30 am with 43 Thurs night, warm still and light ::hitfi:: was only planning a couple of hours anyway as early start in morning and long journey home , Lillysturn tonight , set a target of 20 good few about here and again she's soon into them mission accomplished bagging 20 in 1 1/2 hrs . Thats me done 150 between them ...........i thought : GuWf:: done the maths since and it's 149 but i can live with that lol 11 Quote Link to post

Don't think my 2 will ever be fit enough or capable of matching that acheivement but one things certain i'm NOT lol 2 Quote Link to post
