PLEDGEY 496
Had my S410 in .22 about 5 years, second hand when i got it, and it's NEVER been cleaned. It shoots as good as the day i got it. I don't clean my .22lr either and that shoots spot on also. My .17HMR is different, that gets cleaned when the grouping starts to go, but as for the rest, if the groups good, and you're killing consistantly, why clean?. 1 Quote Link to post
andyz 30
Anyone have any thought's on the felt pellets you can fire through to clean the barrel? Cheers Andy Quote Link to post
Lewis Ste 245
I got some andy, never use them lmao just use a pull through of wire brush if I change barrels Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
I've heard these felt cleaning pellets are not a wise idea to use on a spring rifle Andy, as I note you also shoot with an HW77 .22. They don't produce enough back-pressure to cushion the forward shock impact of the piston and spring like a lead pellet creates, apparently. Simon 1 Quote Link to post
