If you shine a lamp with a red filter at anything, you will get a red reflection. Shine a lamp with no filter and you will get a true colour back. I once had a fox who's eyes seemed to shine back green eater than an orangey red. Had to check it several time to make sure I was aiming at the right species! 75 quid for me to pay if I shoot a sheep by mistake! Quote Link to post
