day out to test new kit...

last season i was asked to clear a few bunnys out a small block a forestry, we spent afew days on it an done well but have seen a couple more using it recently, so today we spent a few hours shifting a few, we went with the aim of trying a new ferret box i got off LEEVIEW an some new nets supplied by NETRIGGER and ANDY KELLY, so after a quick brew at mine an barry havin agood look at the new box, we headed out with a few ferrets barrys pup an my older bitch

1st up was NETRIGGERS purse nets, barry ordered them smaller than normal, 2 an half foot im pretty sure, these nets were NETRIGGERS usual high standard of net, an worked perfectly for the tight spaces we were in, i cannot fault these wee nets, havin some in ye bag along with some bigger nets is very handy

we also tried some of ANDY KELLYS poke nets an a new net he gave barry to try, i dont know what material it was but im sure ANDY will know, both the poke nets am purse nets of ANDYS were made to a very high standard an again very handy to have in the net bag

last but not in any way least is my new treble box courtesy of LEEVIEW well what can i say, the box is the best i have yet to see, i am seriously impressed with it an it will last years hopefully, can tell its been built by a ferreter for ferreters i highly recomend his boxes an wheels to anybody, ended up frozen as the freezin fog was with us so we left a few more places to try an let my lad talk us into calling it a day lol

 

so there you guys go a few honest reviews of kitt made by members off this site, i will deffo be back in touch with all 3 men for more kitt as it is honestly some of the best iv seen an all at good prices

thats the 1 andy, it is a decent net, works well in the hedges be good to see how it holds up for the future, i can see it handling some abuse, same as the poke nets a very nice addition to the bag, keep up the good work

Box looks decent, what sort of weight is it? And more importantly how many bunnies ye get?

box aint heavy mate but its really well made, we got a lousy 4 bunnys out 3 warrens an 2 a them were recoverin from mixy, its a place we cleared but a few new tennants have moved in, dogs marked a few more so we will be back for them at some point, we coulda kept goin but the wee man was moanin aboot the cold, fair doo's tho its the 1st iv heard him moan about the cold since he got his suit

at least he wasn't swinging off the fences or shite like that!! 4 is better than a kick in the clemmies, and at least yous are getting out there mate

ive got one of those wheel, had it for ages now, but ive been dragging my heels on getting a court built to put the things in, it'll be done on monday tho
