With vin being on the bench last night, I had to get in the sub,, so young trigger chauffeured me up to the promised land.

 

The first farm we stopped at didn't produce the goods like last Year and with only a dozen or so after an hour we moved on, a good decision as it happens. Good numbers were to be found on this second farm, and it was work work work for a few hours.

 

We had split up for the most part, but just working a few fields apart, and evry now and then we would check in to se what the scores were, by the first drop off on the lane , we noticed some other lampers,, obviously not the keeper,,, cos you could guarantee they would have come and checked us out, they seemed to be a strange bunch,, cos it appeared they were lamping the same area all night.. But we just kept a wide birth, and carried on with our own business .

 

Anyway time was moving on and I was longing for the warmth of the car,,, trigger however was On a mission , so for the last hour I was happy to just walk down the lane, and let trigger keep going in fields from the gate, and bagging a few,, this was great to be honest as I got to see buster working , and trigger beating his old record with one dog,,, then move on to the half century.

 

So we ended the night 85 rabbits, and 2 sundries , young buster had and even 50 with Venus getting 35, a great night again , with a good wind all night.... Cheers trigger

was they the 2 lamps i saw some,times in the same feild,,,,,lol iff so you mite of seen mine i was a lot higher up,,,,then the lamps went off at 4 oclock,,,,well done chaps,,,,

thanks for the invite Tomo it was nice to put young buster in that situation to see how he handled it. i would of carried on lamping until it got light lol.

i popped into see my rabbit buyer on the way back aswell and my total trip was 517.8 miles on the trip computer. i am fecking knackered and theres no fecker in to make me a cup of tea lol.

Ginny, weather was perfect realy,,, rain held off for the most part just a bit of drissel twords the end of the night,, moon came out real bright around midnightish,, but then clouds came in, and real blustery all night.

Yea it was same when i was out thursday night, bright as feck til about 1 then the cloud covered it up and the wind picked up! Was a decent night!

Top result men..can't believe you never carried on to reach the ton lol..I was in bed at half seven and never got up until half eleven this morning ...I think my career is all but over :-( my knees and back are about totally f****d I was just saying to my lass before I could see me wheelchair bound before to long...oh to be young again haha..well done again guys..ATB Andy

I wondered what happened to ya,, when I saw the other lamp I thought it might be you lot,, I was going to phone,,, but I thought no it can't be,, or you would have phoned me..

 

To be honest Andy we should have carried on,,,we were at the car by 3 am, but I honestly just couldn't be arsed..... Sometimes I get more enjoyment from being out daytime,, bit o bushing and bolting to the dog,,,, I think a little whippet or grew would proberbly suit me ,,, I could be happy with just 20 or so rabbits, and home early doors........ Jesus I'm getting old,, I moan like feck at the mrs leaving the car radio on full tilt....lol,,,
