s horsfield 7 Posted November 23, 2012 Report Share Posted November 23, 2012 got up this morning to check them and one of my Jills is hold her head to one side, I thought hear mites or infection. just been to the vets with one of my dogs that was scratching his hear and got some drops , sorted him out. i was thinking of giveing the ferret a few drops but it says only for cat and dogs, the name of the drops is Surolan. I pointed out that it was only licensed for dogs. The vet reassured me that it wasn't licensed for ferrets as it had not been extensively trialled on them but they would sort the ferrets problem, which they did. I'd take the risk and use a drop or two from the dogs prescription. Quote Link to post
