tanktfb 2
no mate dont think they can as you are letting someone have all the info they need to make a fraud cert and possibly buy guns if they are good at counterfitting Quote Link to post

halamrose 24
Maybe it matters if it's relevant to your work. Quote Link to post
iana 25
Why would you want your employer to keep a record? If ever you loose/ misplace or damage your cert your licensing office will re- issue after completing the forms again. After all, your RFD will not accept a photo copy when you go to buy ammo. Just keep your Certs in your gun safe. Quote Link to post

lapin2008 1,587
What reasons have they given for wanting copies of them? Quote Link to post
gerron 13
erm ...feel like i'm pointing out the obvious here but lets turn it around....if you are employing someone to run around the countryside with a firearm would you not like proof that you made the necessary checks before unleashing them ? The Seeker 3,048
There is no reason they can't take a copy if this is the form of ID you have chosen to give them, most people would chose to give a driving licence or passport which is copied and kept in your personnel file. This is perfectly normal in any businesses. If you are not happy with them copying your SGC give them an alternative. If THEY are insisting on your SGC then I would want to ask why this document is significant to them. Quote Link to post

Whether you are happy, or what relevance it has to your work is a matter for you and them. Quote Link to post
