Another question for anyone ..what would be the best colour to paint the boarded area..should i just wood stain it or do it white..i was thinking white might alter the natural look to it for the bird's.. fireman 10,869 Posted December 3, 2012 Report Share Posted December 3, 2012 Don't rule out using white or light paint for the boards,if i were you i'd get it built first then see how dark the flights are,be easy enough to paint them once the roof etc's done.After all you do want to see the birds and not just have them hiding away in a dark flight. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
