Theres a rural crime crackdown in my area at the moment, a mate has just given me the heads up so ive just googled it.

 

Found this in one of the articles...

 

Inspector Carl Humphries, of Stone neighbourhood policing unit, said: "We take all forms of poaching very seriously as those involved are often involved in other types of serious and organised crime.

 

What a bull5hit statement!

 

Who on here who poaches is involved in "serious and organised crime"? Fair enough if you are you wont say but i reckon the minority.

 

Probably about the same percentage of poachers are involved in serious crime as there are lads who play 5-a-side, lads who go fishing, in fact any collective group of the public.

 

Really pisses me off!

ad because its easier to stop somebody lamping with a lurcher at night and spending half there shift in the police station doing paper work than it is coming up against armed robbers etc Unless it stopping drivers with a mobile speed camera as both beats real police work

probably more criminals in the police than hunters. read loads of times police or ex police officer done for drugs sex crimes drink driving speeding wifebeating etc

used to live in same street as copper when i was a kid always knocking his missus about old man had him about it few times copper used to laugh at him and say try it ill get u nicked.wonder how many people he nicked for doing the same thing? put me off police from the start

I reckon as a percentage there quite possibly could be more criminals in the police force than out of all the lads on here. Discounting poaching. Because that's not a real crime

i think the midlands must have had a brief off someone as i was talking to a lad last night, bear in mind its rare to even see a copper around here let alone get a tug, however he was stopped the other night and the first thing they said to him was "your not after the badgers are you" now his dog had cut its tail earlier and they asked why there was blood on the dog and even checked its tail to make sure what he told them was true.

I think you are right. I have NEVER had a tug by police. Ever. As you say, rarely even see them.

 

We have been spoilt. I've often seen lads stories of being stopped and questioned and wondered why it doesn't happen around here. They must be catching on BA5TARD5!

This was told to me by a policeman who pulled me one night for a quick check...when i asked how he came to that conclusion he just said...thats what we are taught at police training college.

So you are guilty of something before they even speak to you...toss pots
