lanesra 3,994
This sacking managers every 5 mins sums Chelsea up concerning Morals and how they go about things , the man won what everyone said was what Abramovich craved , and he sacks him after 6 mths the best Chelsea team for the past 50 yrs was under Maurinio who created Stability , though I bet not 1 person at that club has the Balls to tell Abramovich at times he is wrong concerning the football side off things I bet there always agreeing with him which tells him he is right , Maurinio would be well advised never to touch that club with a Barge Pole , I hate to say it though but Man.U and Maurinio would be a perfect match ! Malt 379
The current set up at United would suit Jose Mourinho's ego down to the ground.. The manager is the club at United and everyone else comes after, and that is something he craves.. At Chelsea he was being undermined all the time by various directors of football, chief executives and the owner, but that don't happen at Old Trafford.. I can't see the board or the Glazers forcing Fergie to buy players he don't want like Abramovich does.. Fergie will not leave OT when he retires, he'll just move on upstairs and stay out of the way and let the next manager come to him if he's needed..

I Agree about Fergie moving upstairs so to speak , and that would be Daunting to most Managers , but not Mauriniho , he is so Self Confident/Arrogant call it what you will , but he in my opinion would keep united ticking over success wise !
RossM 8,121
Think they've spent £69m on managers alone since rom took over. Crazy amount of money!!

They reckon that if things continue as they are, by 2035 every person in the world will be no more than 6ft from a sacked Chelsea manager!

dytkos 17,818
Every manager at Chelski under Abramovich is a "caretaker" manager. Cheers, D.
