Its_grim_up_norf 577
I usually use bbc good food for recipes. it's a really good site for plenty of other types of food so thought I'd give a game one a try the other day when I got some pheasants in, I wasn't dissappointed. http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1869637/pheasant-braised-in-cider that's the one I used, I did it with some mash and other veggies. Went down very well with the Missis too who isn't a big lover of game. Not the most "traditional" game recipe, but very tasty nonetheless (also its easy to do, which is a bonus for a man with limited cooking skills) The only tweak I used is instead of back I used Parma ham...if you want to veer slightly from the recipe, it went very well. Hope this helps mate.

greenshank1 407
For pheasant , we cut the breasts off , wrap in tin foil , drizzle in olive oil , lightly salt and pepper , add finely chopped chorizo and then roughly break off / crumb Stilton over the top. Wrap the parcel give it 20 mins or so and it is amazing.
