big scott 6
Now lads i am thinking of uprateing my tx mark 3 to FAC and putting it on my ticket the question I have is which way, the gas ram or up rate the spring. I have been told that the tx is very strong gun and will cope very well with the power increse which is another question what will I likey to get from it bearing in mind once this is done it can never be put back to normal so it needs to be worth it. Thanks Quote Link to post
garfield 23
doubtful if you'll find anyone willing to advise you on how to increase the power of an air rifle on an open forum Quote Link to post
big scott 6
Yer looks like that but don't what to know how just which kit my local gun shop will do the work stuff like that is a bit above me. Just sold my Daystate harr x2 FAC because I was sick of refilling and all that money just sat there for months at a time so think this could be a cheap option but if I am only going to get 16 to 20 then it's not worth knackin my tx Quote Link to post
garfield 23
tbh not much gain at 16ftlb and anything more and they become hard to shoot accuratly Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
As Garfield's said, any thing above around 16 and they turn into a total dog to shoot. If you want FAC springer then look at the Diana side levers. There's none better. I had a 52 in .22 on ticket many moons ago that shot beautifully at 32 with no more recoil than most sub 12 springers. Highly recomended. Quote Link to post
