These look like a good starting point, especially with the fiber-shaft.

Is it wrong to ask for a spade for xmas?

Two of the spade we use are fibre shafted but they didn't cost anything like that

I have four different ones hanging in the shed,,, big old round mouth similar to your link,, straight drainage spade, but I always take the bulldog rabbiting spade,, 3rd one along

I have a fibre shafted spade, came from the water board, its small but not too small if you get me, done me years of service.

I has it's place, but it's useless on deep digs. It's hard to lift out earth/sand because of the small head and shallow angle. I've always got mine in the boot in case we have some tight digs, along with a short roughneck. The spade that gets carried and used most is the bulldog GS/2 which is modelled on the old army "general service" spade.
