brunty29cdo 5 Posted November 21, 2012 Report Share Posted November 21, 2012 for the price of an early defender (1990 on i believe) you can get an 90/110 with a disco engine retro fitted which basically makes it a defender but having the advantage of being older that comes under classic insurance . before i had my defender i had a series 3 and cost just quid a year to insure (26 yrs old,0 no claims.2nd car tho). but only get a landy if you want a landy because if you just want a 4x4 for the dogs you can get comfier,reliability and economy for far less with a jap one.
