Had a look out last night with my brother Frankel and my dad FUJI, dogs ran very well missing very little. Was nice too see Reggie getting a few out the seat.

 

The night went shit was blowing a gale at home and when we arrived was very still and warm!! And them fields are absolute saturated!

 

Ended the night with 30 rabbits

Good do out that. .talk about the wet ground..i had moon boot's on by the end of my shift..and it make's it that bit harder for the dog's running and sinking on that saturated ground..

You ain't mentioned we got lost Dean ...wouldn't of been too bad if there had been any bunnies to run ..i still enjoyed the walk out,dogs ran fine although i didn't realise just how short on fitness Swift was,no fault of her's though thats down to me,saying that i've NEVER seen her as sharp/quick,holy shit she's like an exocet missile ,Reggie is really steady these days and he's making into a more than useful companion,does his work well when helping the terriers ,good bushing and in and among cover plus handy enough on the dazzler ...so my "must do better" for today is get my fecking dogs into shape ..and like you said those fields are unbelieveable,no surprise to not see decent numbers,they'll either not bother coming out or they will have drowned ... I proper enjoyed myself last night. It was good to get among a few and watch 2 of our own dogs graft. The night was nothing too serious, just more to stretch the dogs legs.. reggie looks to be improving everytime i see him.
