A lot depends on the foot shape as to whether or not road work alone keeps the claws short.

did you not ask how much it would cost before getting those jobs done, over here it would cost, 3.50 for wormer, 12.50 for booster (don't bother after first jab), nails i do myself,

.the same size vaccination vial will be used whether its a great dane or a jack russel pup....so yes ..i'd say you could split a vial between terrier pups

For two dogs, I'd say you got off lightly, compared to the Vets around here !! Nails; do them yourself, wormers; buy them off the 'net, (Vetmedics), a fraction of the Vet price !

Cheers.

they are b*****ds to cut their nails thats why i let the vet do it

never needed to cut dog nails just plenty of exercize on concrete and road work

I am no stranger to the local vet and I do not think its cheap..

I think the prices are justified however considering the wage bill coming off a vet practise, equipment, utility costs etc..

These vets are qualified and competent persons training for at least 5 years. They aint going to work for peanuts.

slightly off topic, eveyone complains about the NHS but it's free service imagine how much that would cost if we had to pay for that.

Bet it would be more than the vets..

Got to shop about when its meds and basic first aid skills will save a few quid..

Was chatting to vet and they reconed they were very competitive and larger iner citys are paying a premium..

I've always thought the same giro,,,I trained for a few months working with a pester,,, then did a few courses,,, then did my bpca 6 month later,,,and passed,,,,

If I had been at Uni for years is it not 7 years for vets??, yeh like most folk think I think there expensive, but there not just installing a boiler ,,, laying a few bricks,,,or trapping a few moles,,,

There rebuilding a living breathing creature sometimes ,,, I know if I were a vet,, you feckers would be moaning even more,,,lol

I think this fellow could have done the things himself ,, apart from the boosters, but you live and learn
