quick hour this morning ..

Following on from yesterdays squizzer bashing ..

i had a hour to kill this morning between doing my house work .I took a walk around a small permission i have that is soon to be made into a park and ride car park and a road built through the middle wasn't going to go as its blowing a gale here .Now yesterday i was using h& n Field target trophy but wasnt happy with the accuracy ..So today i took the AA field diablo had a quick zero these far more accurate in my 410 ,now the H&n where not bad for accuracy all within 5p at 30 yds but not all one hole ( maybe im being anal ) ..but when you are trying to pull a 9 pellet lead plug from some wood ( 1 flyer my fault) it's got to be these that are going my guns staple diet from now on ...

 

Back to the job in hand... had a quick walk round the fields see if i could see any rabbits nothing .So i made my way to the smaller of the two woods plenty of woodies flying round, So full on stalk mode no mater how hard i try they alway see me before if get in position ..I decide to walk further into the wood where there is a old squirrel dray had alook around the trees through the scope a squizzer just walks onto the branch im looking at but the little won't stay still .then i get a shot but im having to thred the pellet trough branches and fail but it was a complete miss but it shook the squizzer up and off he bolted .So i walk in the direction he went and got my self tucked in next to a tree 10 min later i spy 2 squizzers chasing each other not 30yds away, a branch broke from the tree they where in one of them took off at the noise the other flattened itself to the trunk with its back to me very foolish mr squirel lined him up and sent the AA home right in the back of his noggin dead ..

Now im after his pal so i walk in the direction he went got my self tucked into the side of another tree 5 min wait comming down a branch to my left here come's his little pal as i turn around to take the shot he freezes on the branch .. im stood up trying not to rush my shot ,lined him up and squeezed off the shot nice crack when the pellet hit home but he jumped towards another tree but never made it and fell from the sky with a thud ..

Now looking at him i never alowed for the pellet drop as i was shooting up into the trees and the pellet hit low but he's now dead ...

Nice one pal, good to read a write up from you. Can't believe you've nailed two more squizzers, we should start selling them!

These where shot on the same land about a year ago but with the Hw99s .. Nice little gun even better now iv stripped and relubed and put in a piston sleeve ...
