bobcullen79 1,495
I got some 5ft poke a while back that were crap, they were cut from sheet net and tied on the rings pretty poorly, I got some off Netrigger after that, much better. Ordered some end pins that were advertised as stainless round ones, and some 9mm square painted mild steel ones turned up. I wouldnt use them again. Quote Link to post

Stretch177 39
Top of the page there is a sticky about net makers, i got some off Andy Kelly and they are top notch, but tbh most in that thread will get recommendations from many on here Quote Link to post
Magwitch 687
I brough 2x longnet baskets from them recently and to be honest they are rubbish, the bars are in the wrong place so poles slop around and fall out and the netting is too large for my liking but their 10z purse nets are OK they do the job and last a long time.......................... paulus 26
i only ever buy nylon from them and to be fair ive never had a problem although i do get abit anoyed that they make you pay postage on each spool even though there all sent togeather Quote Link to post
chrismdd 787
Hi All my purse nets are from Bridport and I can't fault them. I use the 10oz yellow with red drawstrings and they are perfect for me working thick hedgerows, you can pull them out through all the brambles and they don't tangle and they purse brilliantly. Only made the mistake once of buying their blue versions that came with blue drawstrings so you had to double check that they were laid correctly over the hole with drawstrings either side. I have only had one drawstring break on one of these nets and that was just me being over aggressive pulling it through blackthorn. Also I don't need to pay postage as its only a cycle ride of 22 miles to get there in West Bay. Chris Quote Link to post

My pokes will last forever - cos their hanging in the shed, untouched after their 2nd outing. I couldnt fault the yellow 10z sheet they were made from, just their tying on. Quote Link to post
