BRAN 0
To all those who indulge in long ears? Pre ban and what not? Longest run I ever seen was doubled up through every type of terrain, the hare jumped when my mobile rang at 11 o'clock and ended at exactly seven minutes later when the mobile rang again, and beat the dogs through an old farm machinery graveyard. Give us a few of your yarns. P.S I never seen the dog I owned again, the b*****d had gotten into a terrible habit of trailing missed hares the previous week. Quote Link to post

mad al 146
Longest I ever had was in my younger days, a so called mate gave me a springer, I should have known better , anyway, she'd been with us a while, taken her out with the other dogs on our land and all seemed fine . One day, decided to take her out on her own on a permission I had then, arrived there, parked up, opened the van, getting kitted up, she was sat in the back waiting . With that, a rabbit appeared about 50yds away, she saw it and took off , close to four hours later, she arrived back at the van absolutely shagged . Well what could I say, I'd had her for nowt, but in conversation one day I just slipped the tale in, at the end of the story my mate said, "aye, she does that now and again" Al Quote Link to post
