sambo 0 Posted June 27, 2007 Report Share Posted June 27, 2007 hi guys been looking at building a fox trap and cant find a supplyer of heavy gauge wire mesh do you think the fencing they use on building sites would be ok to use. the gaps are about 1.5inch by about 6inch. what do you think? cheers sam Quote Link to post
woodga 170 Posted June 28, 2007 Report Share Posted June 28, 2007 if thats the harris fence panels your on about no it wont hold a fox if your on about the small panels the scafolders use on the staging that should hold other than that use some 2 inch galv mesh for strength Quote Link to post

Guest foxtrack Posted June 28, 2007 Report Share Posted June 28, 2007 that security fenceing comes in light and heavy duty the heavy one is realy good and the gauge of wire is a lot thicker than any fox trap on the market. you could get a new panel for £26 and make two foxtraps out of it the brick gaurds used by scarfolders aint no good for a larson let along a fox trap the welds are to weak i work with them every day mate and ive even pulled the apart with my hands Quote Link to post
