Lurchers learning habits/breed characteristics from other dogs

Caught my lurcher pup imitating my sheepdog stalking the cat

Has anyone elses dogs picked up habits from other breeds?

My Saluki x lurcher stalks to get as close as possible before rushing at his target. He has never seen another dog doing it, just started doing it at around 11 months. He even does it to other dogs when he is trying to get them to run. He will also try to round up stray family members if one of us is going out and I know there is no coliie at all in him, I think he figures the whole family should go out hunting together!

maybe the collie in it, my last lurcher was lots of collie and a bit of grey did it all the time 50 yard stalking in about 20 minutes lol made me laugh

No collie in my pup, its learnt these habits from the working collie I own
