bobafet 30 Posted November 18, 2012 Report Share Posted November 18, 2012 Hello does anyone keep indian runners, ive just been offered two and know nothing about them i already have chickens in a very large pen, what are they like to keep ,can i put them in with the hens or will i need to split the pen ,what do they eat and what sort of shelter will they need any advice would help thanks ... patterdalejoel 669 Posted November 18, 2012 Report Share Posted November 18, 2012 i had a pair a while back, they are good they dont need a big pond just somewhere to dunk their heads, make any bare soil 3 inches in mud though and shit like fountains. can be quite skitty also. We have a few acres here and inspite of this, with the weather we're having, our ducks have turned the ground into a quagmire.
