RossM 8,119
Went out with BPR his whippet 28Xxgeo his whippet pup (for a wee watch) and his rimfire. First bit we tried big posh bit with sheep and llama like things there. saw a couple of rabbits but nothing was runnable or within range so we headed up the driveway towards the tennis courts to try a clearing, I cut off the drive and headed towards the tennis court area, was shining the lamp when I heard this almighty crash/snap! Thought it was an almighty bird breaking cover of the branches so swung beam skyward only to see nothing, turned lamp towards other two to find 28xxgeo had missed 29 of the 30 blocks that line the driveway tripped over the last one and was now flat out on the grassy bit! First things first made sure he was ok then laughed myhead off then laughed even more when I saw this! BPR however just laughed straight away! We moved onto another bit and the whippet had a run and was unlucky. 1 Quote Link to post

B.P.R 2,798
I couldnt stop laughing at the fact geo tripped a belter, flat out on the grass- then when i see his rifle that was me finished At least the only break of the night was material and not one of ours, or my dogs leg Think the wooden block came off bad too! Geo took it well. More interested in his gun lamp. Quote Link to post
