The yanks were the first to develop a nuclear weapon, I should think any other country would have done the same if they were the first. But that's just opinion. Also the yanks have been on the very brink of nuclear war with the Russia so they have a certain amount of experience/respect for how things can escalate when thermonuclear weapons are on the table. Also they have a much stronger sense of self preservation than the arabs who don't seem to give a shit about their own lives or anyone's around them.
