Far nicer charts,,,, I remember those others on that Russian film of a coursing club out there,,, they had borzoi and crosses running far more workmanlike , than the showy things we have

Charts: is that Australian Borzoi bred from different lines to the show ones over there? Or was it bred down from original show stock that has now been working for generations in Oz?

I don't know. It belongs to Bullcat on Ozziedoggers, but I'd guess it's from working stock, like thier Wolfhounds and Deerhounds.

amazing how many low minded people judge there working ability by there appearance and the purpose of breeding .................. some show dogs are great workers .,,,,,,,,,,,

never mind i exspect every person on hunting life has seen them work lol lol

i aint low minded thats why i started this to see if anybody has seen them work even tho they look like poofy little show dogs you cant judge a book by its cover etc and they look capable of a few rabbit so thought id ask on here.i know some show dogs can work but they bred mainly for looks.they not working dogs til they work.its like if you were a looking for a decent boxer would you look in a boxing gym or a modelling agency.

or you would at the very least look for good conformation............... or proven working parents........i think those are two good reasons that the "low minded" people have certain opinions on show-bred dogs

 

some show dogs might well be good workers, but a lot more are not!!
