did anyone see these in the cmw this week look like a decent rabbit dog like a whippet sized borzoi but they look a bit showy if u know what i mean any one know any more about them what they like to work with etc. think they originate from america

thought they might be. probably why ive never heard of them before. the article give me the impression they use them for work aswell but not surprised what load of waffle some of them write in there these days

i like the look of them but if they are out and out show dogs i dont think id waste my time trying to get hold of one and take the risk.ive never seen a litter for sale and i bet they dont come cheap.

yeh he (col,david hancock) always writes+ talks about old breeds, or show stuff, i dont think he would no a proper working dog if it bit him on the arse . He is all facts+ figures, he bases is it all from books, (not) what working dogs do in the field of today .( guard dogs,gundogs,hounds, terriers, running dogs)

cheers mate that fur would get caked running and sliding about in some fields here lately maybe if i was into show dogs but think theres better about for what i want love to see one behind a decent rabbit though

the one you put up cocker looks a lot shorter coat than the ones in the mag wonder if its been cut or some shorter than others

ive talked to someone who owns them and has a website on them. they said the young ones they have dont have much prey drive and they dont think they would be up to much work wise.
