ghengis 4
Hi all i have a good farmer friend who has always had collies, but a few years ago got his first kelpie, now he swears by them and would never go back as he says they are a different animal to work with and they are hardier in his opinion. what are your views on the working kelpie ?? Also i know a few of you have kelpie crosses/or you have had them. tomo being 1 i can remember off top of my head. What is your opinion on this cross ? is a first cross better or do you need to dilute the mix more ? 3/4 greyhound x 1/4 kelpie Look forward to your suggestions, pictures etc as im considering putting my mates kelpie dog to my wifes greyhound around march when she comes into season,as my lurcher getting too old and lazy now. JohnGalway 1,043
Our sheepdog is a kelpie/collie cross, he's very headstrong. He is as tough as nails and built like a female Eastern European bodybuilder from the ''s He jumped up at me last month, hit my hand with his paw and left a bruise Poor fella would rull until he dropped dead I reckon. He can't sit still I think I'd prefer the full collie, more bidable I think.
