Elliott 436
Taking the leap to FAC after the new year. I've been looking at these and they look really nice. What do you guys think, anything better or cheaper and just as good available? Don't mind spending the money for a nice piece of kit but I've heard that they're all pretty similar accuracy wise, is that true? Quote Link to post
paulus 26
most if not all 17hmr`s are far more accurate than the man shooting them Quote Link to post
lksopener 105
As above is correct. Cz .17hmr nickel synthetic for me. About £370 brand new, add a sak and you have a nice rifle for £400. Quote Link to post

masmiffy 82
CZ every time great tool at a great price and a trigger kit is just a tenner!!! Quote Link to post
The Duncan 802
I heard the CZ's have crappy triggers?.. I had a couple of CZ's and the trigger wasn't that bad. Not a patch on the HW though. I also had a go with a couple of CZs with trigger kits fitted - an improvement but still not as good as the Weihrauch unit IMHO. Quote Link to post

If I had my time again, I'd still without hesitation buy the HW again. Quote Link to post
Elliott 436
Mmm.. not sure Quote Link to post
pikeypaul 11
cz for me. It's as people say,"it depends on the person behind the gun not the gun in front of the person". No good having a good expensive gun if you can not shoot. I'M NOT SAYING YOU CAN'T SHOOT BY THE WAY. Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
most if not all 17hmr`s are far more accurate than the man shooting them Yep! Most are also very reliable and most will last a lifetime if treated with respect. So, pay more for wood, asthetics, engineering, whatever if you want, but don't expect to achieve any more in the field with it! Quote Link to post
AR177 588
Im going for a CZ 455 (thumbhole laminate stock) for my HMR, fairly cheap yet looks very nice and good reviews ATB Adam Quote Link to post
