Up graded my hutches. It coast me £150 in materials and it took nearly 2 days to make with the painting.

Cracking set up but them water bottle are stinking

Thats great, much better than the old ones mate, no offence lol. Looks much easier to clean.

Fill bottles to top with some warm water and sterilising fluid and leave em for an hour or two! Should come up clean.

 

& the third hutch down, the ferret needs some more water :thumbs:

hoy some rice in the bottle with a bit of water and shake, the algae will come off in seconds. nice hutches mate :thumbs:

 

Funny you should mention that,,,, done exactly that this afternoon,,, do it every couple of months,,,also chucked in a cardboard box with a hole cut in the side, and filled with straw,,, they love new toys,

i use a big heavy dogs water bowl, only prob i find is my young jill sticks her head in the kibble and flicks it about, always big spongy bits in the water. they much prefer drinking out of a bowl and they actually like to dunk there faces right in sometimes. the bottle is purely there as a reserve and never gets touched. mine have been coming in the house for an hour or so each day because of the dark nights i dont get a chance to have them outside by the time iv walked the dogs and had me tea n that. they go wild for 45mins then have a kip on my lass while she watches hollyoaks.... i swear me hob likes it he watches the telly quite a bit. :thumbs:
